HotFoot Recruiters is hiring a Compensation Analyst (Rewards) to support a leading financial services organization. This role focuses on compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and data-driven decision-making to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven HR or compensation professional with strong Excel skills who can manage multiple priorities, analyze compensation data, and support enterprise-wide compensation initiatives. Position: Compensation AnalystLocation: Remote
Type: Full-Time | Contract (through 12/31/2026)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM CST
Pay: Up to $27/hr
Start Date: ASAP (target 4/27/2026) Responsibilities
- Perform job evaluations and market pricing analysis to support compensation decisions.
- Provide recommendations on pay actions including promotions, adjustments, and incentives based on market data and internal equity.
- Conduct and support salary surveys, benchmarking, and compensation studies.
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support pay structure development, equity analysis, and compensation planning initiatives.
- Perform report reconciliation and payroll-related analysis, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Manage service tickets and support compensation-related inquiries, including issue resolution and de-escalation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent compensation practices.
- Support ongoing HCM system migration and process improvements.
- Handle sensitive compensation data with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.
- 3-5+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or financial/data analysis role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, lookups, data analysis required).
- Experience with salary surveys, market data, job evaluations, and compensation analysis.
- Ability to interpret data and provide insightful, data-driven recommendations.
- Experience working with payroll data, reconciliation, or compensation reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience with HCM systems or compensation tools preferred.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to explain compensation concepts clearly.
- Strong mix of compensation + data + Excel expertise
- Comfortable working with large datasets and financial/HR data
- Able to balance analytical work with service/support responsibilities
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
