We are looking for an experienced HR-Change Management Senior Consultant to support a professional services client in New York City as it builds a shared services model. The client is a large firm, with an HR staff of approximately 50 people across the Northeast region. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can guide workforce transition with a people-first approach, strengthen operational consistency, and help preserve employee engagement throughout organizational change. The role is primarily remote, with periodic travel to New York City for onsite meetings and collaboration.

Experience with using and/or implementing Workday is ideal, but not required!

Responsibilities:

• Lead change management efforts for the creation of a shared services HR function, aligning people, processes, and communication plans.

• Partner with leadership to design and deliver strategies that support employee retention, engagement, and adoption during organizational change.

• Evaluate current HR administrative workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and service delivery.

• Support the planning and execution of process automation initiatives within HR operations, including coordination with stakeholders impacted by Workday-related changes.

• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and update sessions with leaders and team members to build alignment and address concerns.

• Advise on employee relations considerations and help manage change impacts with sensitivity, clarity, and compliance.

• Contribute to compensation, benefits, and broader HR administration discussions to ensure continuity of service during the transition.

• Track progress, assess change readiness, and recommend adjustments to communication and implementation plans as needed.

• Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives within human resources environments.

• Strong background in employee relations and HR administration, with the ability to navigate sensitive organizational matters.

• Experience using and/or implementing Workday ideal, but not required

• Experience supporting shared services structures or similar HR operating model transformations.

• Ability to assess manual processes and recommend scalable improvements in HR operations.

• Comfortable working in a primarily remote setting with travel for onsite meetings in New York, New York.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across leadership and employee groups.
