Accounts Receivable ClerkHouston Anesthesiology Associates is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Houston, TX 77040! The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for overseeing operations in connection with accounts receivable. This role is responsible for duties associated with full cycle processing of Accounts Receivable; including collections, posting payments, and ensuring that invoices are prepared accurately and timely.Essential Functions:Answers telephone and assist with account inquiriesResponds to requests for information including sending faxes and e-mailsReconcile and coordinate with the billing team for all incoming paymentsFollows up with pending/outstanding incoming paymentsReviews incoming mail, captures information and forwards to posting teamPrepares payment for depositCollects and organizes medical records paymentsUpdates information and scan documents into the databaseEnsures completeness and accuracy of tasks and projectsReports statistics as requiredPerforms other job-related duties and special projects as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminologyKnowledge of computer and relevant software applicationsStrong attention to detail: being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasksAbility to adapt with flexibility: being open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplaceAbility to work independently by guiding oneself with little or no supervision and depending one oneself to get things doneExceptional customer service and phone etiquetteEnergetic with a desire to learn and develop new skillsEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDOne (1) year experienceBenefits:3 Medical Plans2 Dental Plans2 Vision PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramShort- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceAccidental Death & Dismemberment Plan401(k) with a 2-year vestingPTO + HolidaysPremier Medical Resources is a healthcare management company headquartered in Northwest Houston, Texas.
