Accounts Payable Specialist

A religious day school inHartsdale, NY is seeking an Accounts PayableSpecialist to join the team on a part-time, temporary basis. Who You Are Experienced in end-to-end accounts payable processes Highly proficient with Bill.com and automated AP workflows Skilled in Excel and Google Sheets for financial tracking and analysis Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in reviewing financial documents Effective communicator with experience managing vendor interactions Able to step into a role quickly and operate with minimal ramp-up What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities within a cloud-based system Review and validate invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals Coordinate with vendors to address discrepancies and payment inquiries Maintain organized digital records and supporting documentation Assist with general administrative needs within the business office What Success Looks Like AP operations run smoothly with accurate and timely processing Invoice discrepancies are resolved quickly with minimal disruption Vendor relationships remain positive and responsive Financial records are well-organized and audit-ready The broader team is effectively supported in day-to-day operations Pay Rate Range: $28-33 per hour, based on experience Time Commitment: Temporary, part-time (10-15 hours per week) Location: Hartsdale, NY – Fully on site Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
