Kinetic Ease PT is seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Newport News, Virginia. Work Environment

The selected Physical Therapist will work within a collaborative team composed of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). This onsite position promotes teamwork and integrates various expertise to enhance patient recovery. With a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, our therapy sessions are conducted in our fully-equipped rehabilitation center, facilitating both individual and group sessions designed to optimize mobility and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address each patient's individual needs and rehabilitation goals, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Manage a patient load of approximately 2 to 3 clients per hour, providing thorough and timely evaluations and interventions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to offer evidence-based therapeutic modalities aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment techniques to promote recovery, reduce pain, and improve mobility.
• Advocate for non-surgical options to manage pain and restore function, while minimizing reliance on prescription medications.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs that address each patient's specific needs and lifestyle.
• Coordinate with other medical professionals as necessary to ensure aligned care for patients with complex medical histories.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, recording treatment results, and adjusting care plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
• Inspire and motivate patients to actively participate in their healing process, fostering a culture of health and wellness.
• Enhance patient journeys by focusing on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored exercise regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients at Kinetic Ease PT primarily consist of athletes, active adults, and individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries. Our team provides focused rehabilitation services that cater to diverse needs, ensuring that everyone from professional athletes to weekend warriors receives personalized attention and effective treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• Education: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Licensure: A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia without any prior board action or disciplinary measures.
• Skills: Proficient manual therapy skills and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic care is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with diverse treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques that promote patient recovery.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
