Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in their home environment to identify physical limitations and areas for improvement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at recovery, mobility enhancement, and the alleviation of pain using a range of therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, stretching, hands-on therapeutic modalities, and specialized equipment.
• Execute treatment plans while regularly monitoring patient progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve and maintain therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapy techniques, rehabilitation goals, and the effective use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Stay updated with the latest physical therapy techniques and research through ongoing education, workshops, and professional networking.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
