Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical function, strength, and mobility issues, devising targeted treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, including exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and the use of rehabilitation equipment, to facilitate recovery and improve physical capabilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on patient responses and evolving health conditions.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on effective rehabilitation practices and the use of assistive devices to aid in mobility and self-care tasks.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training programs, and peer collaboration to stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy.
• Perform regular reassessments to ensure that therapeutic goals are being met and to implement new strategies as patients progress or their conditions change.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Virginia, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy role, preferably with a focus on orthopedics.
• Current CPR certification, ensuring preparedness for emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
