Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by gathering detailed medical histories and performing musculoskeletal assessments to establish baseline functional status and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluative findings, collaborating with patients to set achievable goals that promote their recovery journey.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to address orthopedic conditions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure patient engagement.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes to comply with clinical standards and ensure coordinated care.
• Engage in ongoing professional education to stay current with developments in physical therapy and orthopedic care, contributing to a culture of learning within the organization.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives, sharing insights and experiences to foster a culture of excellence in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, including sports-related injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. You will be instrumental in guiding patients at various stages of recovery, utilizing a patient-centered approach that prioritizes their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure for Physical Therapy is required to practice in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable, although new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship and training.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation processes is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits include:
