We serve primarily patients who possess private medical insurance, ensuring that our focus remains on quality care and tangible outcomes.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation center located in Hampton, VA, where you will collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. With a focus on evidence-based practice, team communication, and shared goals, our therapist-driven practice fosters an atmosphere of continuous growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' abilities by analyzing their histories and needs, ensuring accurate identification of objectives and individuals' requirements.
• Manage a carefully balanced caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for in-depth focus and individualized care.
• Implement strategic rehabilitation interventions aimed at enhancing function, reducing discomfort, and improving range of motion.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment techniques and approaches tailored to each patient's goals.
• Educate patients on exercise protocols designed to promote movement efficiency and prevent future injuries.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their journey, fostering a positive attitude and mindset toward recovery.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through personalized fitness programs.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to drive optimal results.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care services and progress using WebPT EMR software.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the licensing body.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in the use of WebPT EMR software for patient documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing innovative care plans and treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
• History of achieving positive patient outcomes and enhancing mobility through therapy interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
