Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to evaluate their physical abilities and limitations, developing customized treatment programs based on physician referrals.
• Implement a variety of treatment modalities to address specific orthopedic conditions, tracking patient progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Work closely with patients to provide education about their conditions and empower them with strategies for managing symptoms and enhancing function.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and contributing to a positive clinic atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to apply evidence-based practices, maximizing patient outcomes through shared goals and coordinated care strategies.
• Train patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises and techniques, fostering independence and confidence in their recovery processes.
• Meet and exceed minimum utilization goals while contributing to the overall operational success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse range of patients, primarily addressing orthopedic conditions that affect musculoskeletal function. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy, allowing practice within the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with patients and staff.

Compensation and Benefits
