Senior Recruiter, Financial Solutions Location: New York Business Area: Human Resources Ref #: 10052657 Description & Requirements We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to lead strategic hiring initiatives across Bloomberg’s Financial Solutions business in the AMER region, focusing on complex and business-critical roles across the Enterprise Sales organization. As a trusted advisor to the business, you’ll shape and execute long‑term talent strategies aligned with business priorities. What’s the role: You will partner closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes, while driving continuous improvement across talent acquisition practices. Alongside managing key searches, you’ll leverage market intelligence, data insights, and innovative sourcing strategies to strengthen pipelines and influence hiring decisions. We’ll trust you to: Lead and execute end‑to‑end recruitment strategies for complex and business‑critical roles across Financial Solutions Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, influencing hiring decisions, workforce planning, and talent strategy discussions Build deep partnerships with hiring managers, understanding business goals and translating them into effective hiring plans Develop and maintain strong, diverse talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and market engagement Leverage market intelligence and competitive insights to advise the business on talent trends and hiring strategies Use data and analytics to assess hiring performance, identify trends, and drive continuous process improvement Champion an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience aligned with Bloomberg’s values Partner with HR Business Partners, global Centers of Excellence, and other internal stakeholders to deliver a cohesive hiring strategy Act as a mentor and role model within the team, contributing to knowledge sharing and capability building Drive employer branding initiatives through events, partnerships, and innovative outreach strategies You’ll need to have: 10+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record in strategic hiring and stakeholder engagement, ideally in‑house Proven experience managing senior‑level and complex hiring mandates end‑to‑end Strong ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders across multiple business lines in a matrixed environment Demonstrated experience designing and executing data‑driven recruitment strategies aligned to business objectives Excellent market mapping, sourcing, and pipeline‑building capabilities Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations Exceptional communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR systems, and recruiting tools A collaborative mindset, with high integrity and a commitment to diversity and inclusion Ability to operate with autonomy, navigate ambiguity, and make informed decisions with limited information We’d love to see: Financial services recruiting experience and/or experience recruiting client‑facing talent A proven ability to act as a true talent advisor, influencing business strategy beyond hiring delivery Experience using market intelligence and talent insights to shape hiring approaches Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to present data and insights to senior audiences A track record of driving process improvements and elevating recruiting practices Experience across both agency and in‑house environments Salary Range = 150,000 - 175,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
