Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that therapists remain connected to the outpatient office community. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient schedules. Our online platform streamlines communication and documentation, enabling therapists to provide consistent and coordinated care from the comfort of their home office.

Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is the geriatric population, addressing common mental health issues faced by older adults, including depression, anxiety, dementia-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals navigate the challenges associated with aging while managing their mental health. By collaborating with families and caregivers, you will enhance understanding and responsiveness to the needs of elderly patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health therapy is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health issues and familiarity with evidence-based treatment interventions.

• Experience in providing therapy to older adults, demonstrating understanding and empathy for their specific needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with a focus on building trust with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, we prefer candidates with additional experience in settings focused on geriatric care. Compensation and Benefits\n
