Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in clinical consultation and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, fostering an atmosphere of continuous learning and best practice sharing.

• Complete all required clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Provide tailored mental health services including behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling, and case management services to clients, particularly focusing on Black birthing families.

• Implement culturally responsive therapeutic interventions designed to address unique mental health challenges faced by diverse populations.

• Collaborate with community resources and stakeholders to coordinate care and enhance service delivery.
\n
• Document and monitor client progress while adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically targets the mental health needs of Black birthing families within our community. You will work closely with clients who may be navigating the complexities of perinatal mental health, including anxiety, depression, and postpartum challenges. By employing culturally competent strategies and individualized care plans, you aim to provide meaningful support to improve health outcomes for these families during a critical phase of their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Currently licensed as a Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively and professionally with a diverse range of individuals.

• A proactive attitude towards seeking assistance and collaboration when faced with challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
