Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll and verify employee hours, overtime, and attendance records
• Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation
• Assist with employee onboarding, including completing required paperwork and training documents
• Manage timesheets, payroll reports, and employee information updates
• Handle employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, and employee communications
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
• Support workers’ compensation, unemployment, and HR-related documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support preferred
• Knowledge of payroll systems and HR software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace preferred

Preferred Experience

• payroll, or workforce management experience is a plus
• Knowledge of New York employment laws is preferred
