We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Klarity Health Consultation and Counseling Center in Albany, New York. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will operate in an onsite setting, specifically within a team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a structured yet dynamic daily schedule where you can focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Your engagement with patients will be one-on-one, ensuring personalized attention and a direct impact on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions and establish individualized care plans to meet their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Manage and treat patients, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and effective use of time and resources.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including hands-on manual therapy and prescribed exercise regimens, tailored to individual patient assessment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Document treatment services thoroughly and maintain comprehensive records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, utilizing platforms such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated health services and optimize patient care.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and promote lifestyle modifications that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, addressing their concerns and celebrating their achievements to maximize their functional abilities.
• Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, focusing on those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your commitment to providing compassionate care will play a crucial role in helping these patients reclaim their independence and improve their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board sanctions against your license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and experience in managing exercise regimens for diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems like WebPT for efficient patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging patient programs that cater to individual fitness and rehabilitation goals.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a healthcare setting, fostering interdisciplinary relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
