Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Reliant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborating with physicians and the patient care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Delivering therapeutic interventions, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, both in our facility and as needed in patients' homes.
• Continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress to adapt treatment plans as required, ensuring compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
• Educating patients, their families, and caregivers on effective use of therapeutic equipment and exercises to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
• Prioritizing your caseload, managing daily staffing requirements, and ensuring smooth patient hand-offs among the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding diverse patient needs, facilitating effective rehabilitation programs, and addressing any specific challenges they may face during their recovery process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or its equivalent.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or willingness to obtain this certification within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience
