Gotham Enterprises Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Albany, New York. About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is a premier orthopedic outpatient private physical therapy practice located within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility in Albany, New York. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional care, and we primarily accept private medical insurance carriers to assist our patients in achieving their health goals. With a strong team of dedicated professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), we focus on delivering personalized treatment that addresses each patient's unique needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work at our rehabilitation center, where you will engage directly with patients in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and predictable work schedule that promotes work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' individual goals and needs, developing tailored care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide treatments for 2-3 patients per hour, employing a variety of evidence-based techniques to enhance mobility and function.
• Design and implement fitness- and wellness-oriented programs that cater to specific patient requirements.
• Utilize your manual therapy skills and exercise expertise to maximize recovery and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting care services effectively in compliance with practice standards and using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive care for our patients.
• Educate and motivate patients to adopt healthier lifestyles focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Facilitate cost-effective treatment options that reduce reliance on medications and alternatives to surgery.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation and modification of treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, treating individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Patients range in age and activity levels, and we strive to provide individualized approaches that address their specific rehabilitation goals. We aim to empower our clients to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life through personalized care and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid New York Physical Therapist License free of any board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and exercises are essential for this role.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• A background in developing comprehensive treatment modalities and fitness programs will be advantageous.
• Previous experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We value our employees and offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
