Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients upon their initial visits to identify their physical capabilities and specific therapeutic needs.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans to enhance patients' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilize a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to remediate physical impairments.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to align with patient goals.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise regimens and health-maintenance strategies to promote ongoing wellness.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations as well as professional best practices.

The primary population we serve includes individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds, many of whom require physical rehabilitation due to orthopedic issues, neurological conditions, or postoperative care. Qualifications

• A valid and current Physical Therapist licensure in New York State.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution. A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

Strengthen Physical Therapy, Inc. offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
