Business Development Center Representative We're building a brand-new Business Development Center and are looking for two outgoing, upbeat, and motivated individuals to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who enjoys talking to people, helping customers, and working in a goal-oriented environment. If you're ready to move beyond a traditional call center role and into a more relationship-focused sales position, this could be a great opportunity for you. What You'll Do Answer incoming customer inquiries Qualify new sales leads Schedule appointments directly with sales representatives Learn our elevator, lift, and accessibility products Prospect to architects, builders, contractors, and other professionals Schedule sales meetings and Lunch & Learn presentations Follow up with prospective customers and leads Manage leads, appointments, and sales activity through our CRM Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up activities Work toward individual and team performance goals What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Cheerful, friendly, and positive A strong communicator and active listener Patient and empathetic when working with customers Self-motivated and driven Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone Curious and willing to learn our products and processes Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple follow-ups Comfortable working toward performance goals and incentives Proactive and willing to take initiative Excited about helping build and shape a new department Preferred Experience Previous experience in any of the following is a plus: Call center or contact center Customer service Inside sales Business development Appointment setting Lead generation Collections Outbound or inbound calling CRM or lead management systems Direct elevator or accessibility-product experience is not required.
