We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team. Position Overview The Admissions Coordinator will play a crucial role in guiding potential residents and their families through the admissions process. This individual will manage inquiries, provide necessary information, assist with required paperwork, and ensure a smooth transition for new residents. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities Respond to inquiries from prospective residents and families, providing detailed information about our services and the admissions process. Manage and process all required admissions paperwork, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to verify eligibility and coverage. Maintain accurate records of admissions and related documentation. Provide tours of the facility and answer questions regarding services, accommodations, and activities. Work closely with the clinical team to ensure all resident care needs are met prior to admission. Serve as a liaison between families, prospective residents, and internal teams to facilitate smooth admissions. Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies. Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare admissions, customer service, or a similar role preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to assist residents and families. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance processes is a plus.
