Admissions Coordinator The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time Salary: Up to $70,000 per year The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for a motivated and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients and families, coordinating admissions, and being part of a fast-paced healthcare environment. What You’ll Do Coordinate and facilitate the admissions process from referral through arrival. Review referral information and coordinate with hospitals, physicians, families, and referral sources. Ensure admission paperwork and documentation are complete and accurate. Communicate admission details with nursing, social services, billing, and other departments. Maintain accurate census and admission records. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, and community referral sources. Respond promptly to inquiries and help ensure a smooth transition for residents entering the facility. Assist with insurance and authorization-related information as needed. Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in SNF admissions, healthcare admissions, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented approach. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Experience with healthcare documentation and insurance/authorization processes is a plus. Why Join Us?
