Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations that involve reviewing patient's medical history, performing targeted assessments, and documenting findings clearly.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting processes.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on assessment results and the latest best practices in physical therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care; recognize any changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that documentation captures the patient's journey clearly—from evaluation through discharge.
• Manage your time efficiently to meet productivity standards while maintaining an accurate schedule of appointments.
• Actively participate in departmental initiatives aimed at achieving performance goals, while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
• Pursue continuous education and professional growth opportunities, contributing to a culture of learning by serving as a clinical instructor for students when applicable.
• Enhance customer service by promoting a welcoming and caring atmosphere, demonstrating flexibility in meeting patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you will be integral to developing evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate Degree (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is advantageous, contributing to accurate documentation and continuity of care.

Compensation and Benefits
