1st Shift Welder

Welder / Fabricator

This role involves MIG welding and fabricating metal components used in the production of large industrial machinery. You will interpret engineering blueprints, assemble and tack parts, and complete high-quality structural welds in a fast-paced, heavy-production environment. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable welder who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing durable, precise fabrications.

Essential Skills

• Several years of MIG welding experience, specifically with structural steel welding and fitting.
• Proficiency in MIG welding for structural applications, including the ability to produce strong, consistent welds without reliance on jigs.
• Hands-on fabricating experience, including assembling, fitting, and tacking parts from raw or semi-finished materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering prints accurately.
• Skill in using tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit-up.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and equipment commonly used in welding and fabrication.
• Capability to perform grinding and basic machine operating tasks related to welding and fabrication.
• Comfort working in a heavy-production environment that requires frequent heavy lifting and physical stamina.
• Dependable work habits and a strong commitment to long-term employment in a temp-to-hire role.
• No formal welding certifications required, but practical experience and demonstrated skill are essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Leola, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
