Development Operations Assistant

Part of the Solution (POTS) offers an array of comprehensive and personalized services to fight poverty and hunger in The Bronx, at no cost to clients. Annually, POTS serves more than 35,000 people, including 12,000 children. Our services are organized around three programmatic pillars: a Dignity and Wellness Program provides shower, mail, haircut and medical and dental services; a Food Security Program offers hot meals and groceries; and a Long-Term Stability Program provides guidance on applications for public benefits and mentoring for long-term personal growth. About the Position The Development Operations Assistant is a key staff position within the Development Department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of donations and donor acknowledgments, as well as assisting with database management, and other Development projects as needed. Donations Processing and Acknowledgement Letter: Accurately process and record donations from multiple platforms (paper checks, FundraiseUp, PayPal, Benevity, Stripe, and more) into Salesforce in a timely manner, and prepare and mail weekly donor acknowledgment letters. Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in Salesforce, including gift coding, contact details, duplicate merging, and in kind donation tracking. General Department and Special Event Administration Support: Provide broad administrative support to the Development Department, including grant and donor research, email platform management, seasonal appeal mailings, and event data entry and RSVP tracking. Required Skills Highly attentive to detail Strong technological capability Organized Strong, functional knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel Preferred Skills Knowledge and experience with Salesforce or other CRM software In Office Requirement Two in office days (Wednesday and Thursday) are required.
