Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver ICU patient care tailored to the age and needs of the patient population served on the unit.
- Monitor patient status, recognize deterioration, and implement interventions per orders and unit protocols.
- Administer medications and therapies, document care in the patient record, and ensure accuracy and safety in all treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, and support staff) to optimize patient outcomes and participate in rounds and care planning.
- Provide clear communication with patients and families, offer education, and support discharge planning within the unit's standards of care.
- Maintain unit readiness, uphold infection control practices, and adapt to evolving systems while demonstrating professionalism and respect toward staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California.
- ICU/critical care nursing experience or demonstrated competency in high-acuity patient care.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts in a travel assignment and commit to a 13-week duration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and meet assignment requirements as a travel clinician.
