Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our outpatient office team. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. During the day, you will connect with clients via teletherapy and have access to our electronic health record system to maintain accurate documentation efficiently. Your role will involve collaborating with fellow therapists and support staff through regular virtual meetings and consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct structured therapy sessions, providing a safe space for open dialogue and emotional expression.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of clients’ needs, goals, and preferences.

• Guide clients in identifying effective communication strategies and coping skills to enhance their relationships.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to address clients' diverse issues.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings and consultations to discuss cases and share insights on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will serve a wide range of clients, including individuals and families facing challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will work collaboratively with clients to help them set and achieve therapeutic goals, leading to improved mental health outcomes and healthier relationships. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and social needs of clients in Yakima and surrounding areas will be essential.

Qualifications\n

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Washington State.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong knowledge of diverse therapeutic modalities and techniques.

• Exceptional detail orientation and time management skills, capable of handling a full caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
