The Role LightBeam.ai is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition in the mid-market and enterprise space. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in accelerating LightBeam’s go-to-market momentum and helping define the category of identity-centric data security. The ideal candidate has a relentless work ethic, thrives in ambiguity, learns fast, and leads with curiosity and empathy. You’ll be a proactive communicator, able to engage technically-minded buyers while quickly building rapport with executives. What You’ll Do Own the full sales cycle: from outbound prospecting and qualification to demo, proposal, and close Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Product to deliver a value-driven sales motion tailored to each buyer Drive conversations with CISOs, privacy leaders, and compliance stakeholders about reducing data risk through modern AI-based security Build pipeline using Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Google Suite, Slack, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Run high-quality discovery sessions and bring thoughtful preparation to every customer touchpoint Provide regular feedback to GTM and Product teams to inform messaging, positioning, and roadmap Travel as needed for prospect meetings, field events, and industry conferences (approximately 25% travel) Who You Are You demonstrate the core traits that define our most successful sellers: Work Ethic: You show up early, put your best foot forward always, and outwork the competition Adaptability: You thrive in fast-paced, startup environments where priorities shift and speed wins Domain Experience: You bring knowledge in cybersecurity and data security—or the hunger to learn fast Rapport Building: You know how to connect quickly and authentically with a wide range of stakeholders Curiosity: You ask great questions and love digging deep to understand customer problems Technical Aptitude: You can grasp technical concepts and translate them for business value Passion: You’re excited about LightBeam’s mission and motivated to build something big Prior Success: You’ve hit or exceeded quota in a direct sales role for 3–5+ years Preparation: You never show up unprepared.
