Customer Support Assistant

Position: Customer Support Assistant Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (on-site) Salary: Mid to upper $50,000 range Location: On-site

Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Support Assistant to join our team. This role supports daily customer operations, order management, and coordination with warehouse and logistics teams. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage order processing, including communication with customers and entering orders accurately
• Coordinate shipments with the warehouse, including release of orders to the floor
• Work with trucking companies to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Prepare shipping documentation such as labels, barcodes, and related materials
• Track orders from shipment through final delivery, ensuring timely receipt by customers
• Monitor container movements and communicate with freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery
• Respond to incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Research and resolve customer inquiries efficiently
• Support the Sales Manager in servicing customer accounts
• Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar customer support, logistics, or order management role
• Familiarity with warehouse or distribution operations preferred
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
