Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based mindfulness interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress and promoting relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ unique stressors, mental health goals, and tailor specific mindfulness strategies to meet their needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to cultivate self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, stress management, and strategies for building resilience.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions to address clients’ specific mental health concerns while supporting their overall personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that incorporates mindfulness practices.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, therapeutic interventions, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

• Participate in your ongoing personal mindfulness practice and engage in professional development to continually refine your expertise in MBSR.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for creating calming, supportive therapeutic environments.

Preferred Experience\n

• Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in a related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
