As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and site personnel, and report observations with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a construction-related location. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and construction work zones, while observing for unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
