Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience in general special education and behavior intervention (preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Effective collaboration skills for working with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs tailored to student needs
• Deliver instruction using evidence-based strategies and interventions
• Manage a caseload of students in both general and behavior support roles
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and education
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and team members
