This facility operates as part of an established health system and provides specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured on-site clinic environment. Clinical operations are supported by a team of 1 - 2 APPs and are designed to facilitate coordinated oncologic care delivery throughout all covered assignment periods. Established protocols are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.

The region surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a variety of outdoor recreation, cultural, and seasonal activities. The area features year-round opportunities for leisure, including regional parks, recreational venues, and community events that provide varied options during time away from clinical duties.

Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage at a clinic setting, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, managing approximately 15 patients per day. The clinical scope is 99% outpatient, with rare inpatient consults estimated at 1 - 2 per year; no ICU or critical care procedures are required, and clinicians are not required to serve as backup coverage for the emergency room. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities. New clinicians are required to complete an orientation session the day prior to the first assigned shift; BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
