Description This contract position offers an on-site opportunity to provide exceptional medical care in a fast-paced hospital environment. As a Locum MD Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical services to patients, managing their care, and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring quality healthcare delivery within our medical practice. Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Ensure accurate documentation of patient information Communicate effectively with patients and their families Participate in hospital rounds and case discussions Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts Experience in Internal Medicine as a Hospitalist preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Knowledge of electronic health record systems Schedule: 12-hour night shifts Admissions: 7-12 per night at one location, 10-18 per night at another Closed ICU Minimal procedures, if any Support Staff: APPs, residents, and attendings EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
