The company focuses on creating advanced products for blood glucose monitoring, clinical chemistry, and point-of-care testing. Their expertise lies in providing reliable diagnostic solutions for both professional healthcare settings and home use. The Sales Account Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and effectively promoting products and services within assigned markets or channels. Laboratory (USL) markets include hospitals, IDNs, reference labs, and physician office labs. Key decision makers include laboratory techs, laboratory directors, supply chain directors, and procurement officers. Knowledge & Skills Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research, cold calling, engagement with channel partners, networking, participation at industry trade shows, and other lead generation techniques. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of products and services to effectively communicate features, advantages, and benefits. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs. Sales Quotas: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies and action plans. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities using Salesforce.com. Customer Feedback: Gather and utilize customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies. Sales Training: Continuously update product knowledge and sales techniques through ongoing training. Work Experience, Skills, and Education A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably in healthcare or medical devices. Strong skills in account management, project management, communication, and negotiation. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented. Collaborative, with the ability to work independently and in teams. Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
