Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in Special Education (please submit a PDF of your license)
• Experience working with K-5 students in a Special Education setting
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
• Ability to adapt lessons for varying student abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students with varying exceptionalities
• Develop, implement, and assess IEP goals while tracking student progress
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive practices
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages engagement and confidence
• Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as required by the district
