Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you bring:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in Early Childhood Special Education (EC SpEd) and Elementary Special Education (ES SpEd)
• Previous experience working with early childhood and elementary aged students with diverse learning needs
• Strong collaborative skills to partner with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Ability to create inclusive, individualized lesson plans and interventions
• Flexibility and creativity in supporting students across various grades and needs
• Current resume and PDF copy of MN teaching license are required for consideration

Key responsibilities:

• Teach half-time early childhood special education and half-time K-5 resource students within an elementary school setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and parents to support student progress and achievement
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment to promote academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Utilize multiple instructional strategies and adapt materials as needed
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

This contract position runs from approximately September 2, 2026, through June 4, 2027, for 37.5 hours each week. You will play a crucial role in shaping students' learning journeys across two welcoming elementary schools.
