Position Information This position provides office and clerical support related to human resources, payroll processing, budgeting/purchasing, reporting, and software programs/applications to ensure the efficient operation of various Special Education Programs. Additionally, this position provides administrative support for the administration and program staff in the facilitation and implementation of activities for Special Education programs. Shift Details: 8.0 hours a day; 205 day calendar Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary. FLSA Status: Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $38.52 per hour (2025-2026 Office Personnel Salary Schedule) [Effective Sept. 1, 2026: $40.29 per hour] Position Type/Level: Office Personnel Level E Please click the link under "Attachments" at bottom right to review the full job description. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. and, one of the following: Hold a post‑secondary or advanced degree; or Earned a minimum of ten (10) relevant college credits; or Have three (3) years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree in a related field. 3-4 years of work experience in a related role. Benefits The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) provides access to health care services. Our benefits are provided to eligible positions through SEBB (School Employees Benefits Board). Eligibility for SEBB state health insurance coverage is determined by working 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for a state retirement plan through the Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) is determined upon hire and is based on a variety of factors.
