Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide tailored individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients in need of outpatient support, conducting sessions via telehealth platforms.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health and relational needs, devising personalized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.

• Apply family systems theory and effective systemic interventions to help clients navigate relationship dynamics, improve communication, and alleviate family stressors.

• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, assisting clients in managing acute situations to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans that adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Educate clients on techniques for effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies, enhancing their overall mental and emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

As an LMFT at Brighter Future Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your expertise in navigating these complex challenges will play a critical role in promoting healthier family systems and improving individual outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State is required.

• A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
