Job Description

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk with 2+ years of experience. This role assists the Controller with financial preparation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and in a variety of other areas. We seek a qualified candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assist the Controller with Proforma preparation as needed
• Ensure the Company is in compliance with all state DOR, SOS, and payroll tax rules and regulations with assistance from the Controller
• Providing support and information to external accounting team
• Assist the Controller with auction product payments process
• Maintain and update accounting and HR related processes in Company knowledgebase
• Provide administrative support, including processing expense reports, organizing office supplies, and maintaining essential stock

Requirements:

• Associate degree in accounting or finance, or 2+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain relevant financial changes to the Controller and upper management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain multiple tasks and meet deadlines
