Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - CVOR

SCHEDULE
- Shift pattern: 2x8 and 2x12
- Shifts can fall between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM
- Call: required; distributed equitably on a 4-week rotation

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years overall OR experience
- At least 2 years dedicated cardiac and vascular experience (includes transplant)
- Minimum 1 year CVOR experience
- Experience in a Level I Trauma facility required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Familiarity with EPIC EHR

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide patient care during cardiovascular surgeries and procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient OR environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage anesthesia as directed during procedures.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately upon booking; delays may push/cancel assignment.
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director.
- RNs must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission.
