Job Description:

Title: Registered Nurse – NICU Level III

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred experience in NICU Level III / Level IV.
• Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Required clinical skills include:
• Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP)
• Care of arterial/umbilical lines and central lines (UAC/UVC)
• Administration of IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids.
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Feeding management (oral, nasogastric, nasojejunal, gavage).
• Care for patients with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
• Infection control and isolation precautions.
• Proficient communication skills using SBAR.
• EMR: Epic.

Compliance / Notes:

• Vaccines: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
• Licensure: RNs must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission.
• References: 2 professional references required (1 from a manager/director or formal leader, 1 charge RN acceptable as the 2nd).
• Credentialing/fingerprinting required, with a strict compliance deadline.
• Employment eligibility: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current facility employees are ineligible for traveler roles.
