Assembler

Job Summary We have an outstanding Contract position for an Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Houston, TX surrounding area. Responsibilities Perform standard assembly processes, reworks and repairs on manufactured equipment and products while working under general supervision. Work on small mechanical or electro‑mechanical parts, equipment housing, large equipment such as engines, PTO drive trains, transmissions, diesel and natural gas generators, control equipment, covers/cowlings, related connecting lines, etc. Fit, mount, align, adjust, and conduct operational testing as part of the assembly process. Promote safety awareness and actively participate in quality and continuous improvement processes. Perform preventive maintenance, inspect production equipment, and carry out minor repairs. Read blueprints and follow work instructions. Use basic hand and power tools, and basic measurement tools (tape measure, rulers, squares). Apply basic understanding of calibration tools such as torque wrenches. Possess basic computer navigation and utilization skills (preferred). Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent with two to ten years related experience. Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions. Proficient in basic hand and power tools. Proficient in basic measurement tools (tape measure, rulers, squares). Basic understanding of calibration tools (torque wrenches). Basic computer skills (navigation and utilization). Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and minor repairs. Additional Information Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
