Assistant to Treasurer/Accounts PayableSt. Bernard-Elmwood Place City Schools is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant to Treasurer/Accounts Payable. This full-time, 12-month position supports the Treasurer's Office with accounts payable, purchasing, financial recordkeeping, and general administrative assistant duties.Key Responsibilities:Review and process vendor invoices and paymentsPrepare and process checks and purchase ordersMaintain purchase order encumbrances and financial recordsPost and record receiptsAssist with monthly financial reports and activity fund adjustmentsMaintain petty cash and outstanding invoice recordsProvide professional and courteous assistance to staff, vendors, families, and the publicMaintain confidentiality of financial, personnel, student, and other sensitive informationAssist the Treasurer's Office with other accounting and administrative duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or related financial experience preferredProficiency with computers and office applicationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively and professionallyAbility to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with staff, vendors, and the publicPosition Details: Location: District Central Office Reports to: Treasurer Schedule: 40 hours per week, 12 months Salary: In accordance with the district salary schedule Benefits: District employee benefits in accordance with applicable terms and contracts Licensure: None required Employment: Successful completion of a criminal background check required.Application Window: September 29, 2026 – October 16, 2026Interested applicants should contact Mr. Nick Hendricks, Treasurer, at View email address on click.appcast.io.
