Accounts Payable Associate

IDR is seeking a Accounts Payable Associate to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee. This organization is a leader in the finance and accounting industry, focused on delivering efficient and accurate accounts payable services to support their operational needs. Position Overview for the Accounts Payable Associate: Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, disbursements, and financial adjustments. Perform detailed research to verify the accuracy and integrity of all accounts payable transactions. Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify invoice details. Enforce internal controls related to disbursement processes while recommending process improvements. Key invoices into financial systems, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring data accuracy. Requirements for the Accounts Payable Associate: Strong understanding of general arithmetic and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Working knowledge of data processing systems and computerized accounts payable functions. Thorough understanding of accounts payable procedures, controls, and best practices. General knowledge of 1099 documentation and compliance requirements. High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Windows-based). What's in it for you?
