Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR programs designed to help clients reduce stress, enhance emotional balance, and improve overall well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, gathering detailed histories to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing exercises, promoting self-awareness and emotional regulation during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies to foster community support among participants.

• Develop and implement individual therapy plans that incorporate mindfulness practices and track client progress, ensuring a tailored approach to mental health care.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that integrates mindfulness techniques into the broader therapeutic strategy.

• Participate in continuous professional development, engaging in personal mindfulness practices and contributing to the evolution of mindfulness techniques within our services.

• Maintain meticulous documentation regarding client interactions, interventions, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with professional standards and confidentiality regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients we serve come from varied backgrounds and present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and trauma. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be instrumental in helping clients cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and navigate challenges in their lives, ultimately supporting them on their journeys towards improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques, with experience integrating these methods into clinical practice.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients, fostering a calming therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with a focus on mindfulness-based approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
