HR Generalist/Benefits Coordinator- Contract POST NUMBER: 484047

Vaco Phoenix is seeking an experienced HR Generalist/Benefits Coordinator for a top client in Chandler, AZ. This role will involve managing open enrollment, 401K audits, and benefit administration. The position is a 6–8-week contract position, offering a hybrid work schedule and pays up to $45 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, eligibility, and ongoing maintenance of benefit plans.
• Support 401(k) plan audits by preparing documentation, reconciling records, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Assist with annual Open Enrollment by coordinating communications, processing elections, and resolving employee benefit inquiries.
• Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, including tracking leave requests, maintaining compliance with applicable policies, and coordinating with employees and third-party administrators.
• Process and reconcile benefits invoices to ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Conduct benefits-related audits, maintain data integrity across HR systems, and support special projects to improve benefits administration processes and compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, experience strongly preferred
• Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills
• Experience leveraging MS Office Suite, particularly Power Point and Excel, to present information and influence Leadership
