Work Environment\n

This role is 100% remote and allows for a flexible work setting, specifically utilizing telehealth technologies to deliver care. Our therapists are equipped with secure platforms to connect with clients, conduct assessments, and provide therapy effectively while maintaining confidentiality. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours based on client needs. This structure promotes a balanced work-life environment, ensuring our therapists are well-supported while serving clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments to evaluate client needs, identifying patterns indicative of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaboratively design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
\n
• Deliver direct therapeutic services in individual and group settings, helping clients cultivate resilience, coping strategies, and emotional regulation skills.
\n
• Actively engage in case coordination with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring a unified approach to client care.

• Oversee ongoing substance use monitoring, applying motivational interviewing techniques to support clients in their recovery journey.
\n
• Provide educational resources and family support regarding the connection between mental health and substance use treatment, emphasizing the importance of compliance.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and interventions, in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and case conferences, dedicating time to enhancing your skills and contributing to team knowledge about co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders. This patient population often presents complex challenges requiring tailored treatment approaches. By using integrated therapies, you will empower individuals to break free from cycles of dependency and mental distress, facilitating their journey towards holistic recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Your educational background includes a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• You must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Confidence in applying evidence-based treatment modalities specifically focused on co-occurring conditions.

• You should have a robust understanding of the challenges posed by the interplay of mental health and substance use disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with our multidisciplinary team and fostering positive client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
