Family First Physical Therapy, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on our patient-centric approach and a culture of collaboration among our team, which currently includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, enabling us to focus on providing top-tier rehabilitation services.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates on-site within our vibrant rehabilitation facility located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs and establish personalized treatment plans based on their goals and medical histories.
• Manage a focused caseload, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure quality care.
• Implement evidence-based treatments that effectively improve patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop tailored exercise protocols designed to meet specific rehabilitation goals.
• Encourage patients through their recovery journeys, motivating them to adhere to their treatment plans and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care strategies, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient management.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, leveraging Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly WebPT, to streamline operations.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Focus on preventative care strategies to reduce reliance on medications and explore alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Design and promote fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet each patient's individual needs and circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Family First Physical Therapy, we primarily serve adult patients seeking recovery from orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. Our clientele often includes individuals looking for non-invasive treatment options and those recovering from surgery. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or violations.
• Strong proficiency in advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience and competence in utilizing EMR systems, with a strong preference for familiarity with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care through comprehensive evaluation and tailored treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
