What You ll Do

• Provide trauma hospitalist coverage, including patient rounding and management
• Respond to trauma alerts and participate in emergent procedures
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertion, central and arterial line placements, and minor laceration suturing (preferred but not mandatory)
• Uphold clinical guidelines, documentation standards, and non-clinical compliance requirements

What You Need
Required:

• Active NP or PA license in Minnesota
• Certificate in ACLS and BLS
• 2+ years of trauma, emergency, or critical care experience
• Ability to work autonomously with supervision present as needed
• Experience with trauma activations and procedures

Preferred:

• Prior trauma surgery or critical care background
• Experience managing adult and adolescent trauma patients

Rounding on approximately adult patients daily (6 in ICU), with additional ED and admitting responsibilities.
