Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Special Education Teacher, working within a supportive school environment serving students in a self-contained classroom setting. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through January, offering consistent daily hours from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday.

In this role, you'll nurture and guide a small group of six students, crafting individualized educational experiences to support each child’s growth. Your expertise and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students who benefit most from personalized instruction.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher license for the appropriate grade level.
• Prior experience working with special education populations, ideally in a self-contained classroom.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Foster a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment.
• Collaborate effectively with related service providers, families, and school staff.
• Track and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed.
• Engage students using evidence-based instructional strategies.
